Jonathan Linen‡
Non-Executive Director
Jonathan Linen has been a Non-Executive Director of IHG since December 2005.
He is also a Non-Executive Director of Yum! Brands, Inc. and of Modern Bank N.A., a U.S. private banking company, and is an advisor to the Chairman of the American Express Company and serves on a number of US Councils and advisory boards.
Previously, Jonathan was Vice Chairman of the American Express Company, which he joined in 1969 as assistant to the Chairman. Prior to that he was in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. A graduate of both The Gunnery School (1962) and Williams College (1966), Jonathan also graduated from the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School.
