The IHG Owners Association (formerly known as the IAHI) is the independent association of hotel owners who operate IHG brands.
Founded in 1955, the IHG Owners Association is the first of its kind in the hotel industry. Now, covering all of our hotel brands (with the exception of InterContinental), the IAHI represents the interests of nearly 3,000 hotel owners and operators worldwide.
IHG works closely with the Association to maintain the highest standards for our brands and to ensure we are providing our owners with the support they need.
The IHG Owners Association has three primary objectives:
- Increasing hotel revenues and market share for the hotels its members operate
- Achieving financial targets that surpass the standards set by each brand
- Creating long-term value through the excellence of the brands, quality of operations, superior marketing and employee development.
"More than 200 members from around the world serve on our Committees and tackle the important issues facing our business. These individuals fight for common sense standards, effective marketing, and useful tools to help grow the business of every IHG hotel brand owner – whether they are an IAHI member or not."
Mike Hoffman, 2007 IAHI Chairman
