Paul Proctor is Vice President, Commercial, Greater China, based in Shanghai.
Paul leads IHG®’s commercial strategies and the implementation of the IHG enterprise system across the Greater China portfolio. This includes Sales & Marketing operations, Revenue Strategy and Revenue Management operations, Commercial Strategy, Regional Sales, Channels, Distribution and Hotel Delivery. Paul is also part of the Global Sales and Marketing leadership team.
Paul is a global hospitality executive with extensive hotel operations and commercial experience. He brings both hotel and owner perspective to his commitment to driving results for IHG’s Greater China commercial organisation.
A native of the United Kingdom, Paul has worked at IHG for more than 10 years. Previous to his current role, Paul was Head of Sales & Marketing Operations, Greater China, and then he expanded his responsibility to become Head of Commercial Performance, Greater China. His leadership has lifted commercial performance and he has built and developed high performing commercial talent for the region. Prior to joining IHG, Paul spent 10 years in general management roles with the European hotelier Queens Moat Houses (QMH) Hotels.
Paul holds an MBA from University of Hertfordshire, UK with a specific focus on Knowledge Management. He is the author of multiple industry related publications.
