Crowne Plaza Hotel Opens on Long Island, N.Y.

ATLANTA (Dec. 18, 2008) - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, today announced that the Crowne Plaza Long Island-MacArthur Airport has opened, after a conversion from Radisson.

"We've recently opened properties at the Newark airport and in Edison, N.J., and our flagship hotel in Times Square just completed an $85 million renovation. The Long Island property is an exceptional location to grow our presence in one of the nation's top travel destinations."
Conveniently located in the heart of Long Island, the hotel is only minutes away from breathtaking beaches, wine country, museums, major businesses, shopping and attractions. Whether guests are headed east to the jet-setting Hamptons or west to the fabulous sights of Manhattan, the Crowne Plaza's immediate access to the Long Island Expressway makes getting there easy.
The MacArthur Airport is less than six miles from the hotel, and LaGuardia Airport and JFK International Airport are both a short drive away. The Crowne Plaza Long Island-MacArthur Airport is owned by Holtsville Hospitality, LLC, and managed by Om Hospitality, LLC, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
