ATLANTA (December 1, 2008) - According to a new survey released today by Hotel Indigo®, one-third (36%) of Americans would rather check into a hotel than stay with family and an astounding 97 percent would rather not stay with their in-laws. Findings show that while travelers are looking to spend the holidays with family, they simply don't want to stay with them!

Commissioned by Hotel Indigo, the online survey of 1,000 U.S. residents ages 18 and over was conducted by Kelton Research between Nov. 17 and Nov. 20.
