Break the business deadlock – go off site...

InterContinental Hotels Group launches the ALLinONE Meetings Package

Executives can avoid ‘meeting fatigue' by simply moving off site to a new location, according to work psychology expert Professor Cary Cooper. Holding meetings out of the office can help combat clock watching and increase productivity and creativity.

To help businesses make the most of their meeting time, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has developed its ALLinONE Meetings package, a one stop service designed to save time and money. Available across Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout the UK and Ireland, the package includes a dedicated meetings team who work with each business to offer a service tailored to their needs. A residential offer including dinner and breakfast is also available.

Cary Cooper CBE, Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health at Lancaster University Management School said: "If you need to do some strategic thinking, you shouldn't be doing it in your office. Getting away from the work place is absolutely essential and holding your meeting off site can make a world of difference."

Jane Bednall, spokesperson for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) added: "Choosing to hold a meeting at one of our hotels helps business people focus on the task at hand as our dedicated meetings teams provide support from start to finish."

Businesses booking the ALLinONE Meetings package can also take advantage of one of five extra options:

  • One in seven delegates free
  • Double BusinessClub or BusinessClubAgent points which can be used for a  range of rewards including free hotel breaks and spa treatments
  • Free breakfast or half bottle of wine per delegate
  • Bedroom upgrades
  • Free Wi-Fi access in the meeting room

The packages are competitively priced, ranging from just £19 per person at Holiday Inn to £29 per person at Crowne Plaza. The half board residential packages cost from just £79 per person at Holiday Inn to £99 per person at Crowne Plaza.
