Dallas Welcomes Its Fifth Crowne Plaza Hotel
After $14 million in renovations, hotel will offer exceptional meeting space, restaurant, and entertainment options for business travelers
ATLANTA - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, today announced the Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown will open within a month. The conversion hotel has undergone a $14 million renovation from the Hampton Inn Dallas-West End-Convention Center.

Renovations for this property included all 300 guest rooms and suites, the addition of 22 new meeting rooms encompassing over 22,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, the brand new TEN15 Elm restaurant, and high energy nightclub, THRIVE.
The hotel will feature a comprehensive meetings program to ensure a seamless planning process and exceptional meeting experience consisting of three key components: a Two-Hour Response Guarantee, Crowne Meetings Director and a Daily Meetings Debrief. The hotel features meeting, banquet, wedding and exhibition space accommodating groups of up to 2,000 people.
The 23-story Crowne Plaza offers 300 guest rooms and a variety of amenities, including a business center, fitness center, and a ninth floor roof top pool oasis with panoramic views of downtown's skyline. The new Ten15 Elm restaurant provides out-of-town guests and local residents a sophisticated and unique dining experience led by Dallas Chef Brian Litolff.
The new addition of THRIVE to the Crowne Plaza Downtown Dallas Hotel adds a high-energy atmosphere and element of luxury to the Dallas nightlife experience. The nightclub will feature local and celebrity DJs entertaining patrons while they enjoy hand-crafted cocktails, the custom dance floor and the VIP lounge area.
Also consistent with the Crowne Plaza brand, the hotel features the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage®, which is available at all Crowne Plaza hotels in the Americas. Sleep Advantage encompasses the entire sleep experience, from training staff on how to create and maintain a restful environment to providing innovative products and services. Program components include new bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips and amenities such as eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray.

The Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown is owned by Terry and Patty Tognazzini and managed by Tog Hotels Downtown Dallas LLC, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
