Holiday Inn kicks off celebrations for 2012 day with special £20.12 room rate
On 2012 day, the twentieth day of the twelfth month, people can book rooms at Holiday Inn hotels for an amazing £20.12 per room.
Holiday Inn, Official Hotel Provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, is releasing rooms for just £20.12 to mark the occasion and celebrate its partnership with London 2012.
People can book the £20.12 rooms on 20 December 2010 from 00.01 hours to 23.59 hours for stays at 171 participating Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels. They can stay on any date between 26 December 2010 and 9 January 2011 (excluding 31 December). Stays at Holiday Inn hotels will be on a room only basis. Guests staying at Holiday Inn Express will get a complimentary breakfast including selected hot items. Complimentary breakfast is standard at all Holiday Inn Express hotels all year round.
The timing of the offer means guests can visit friends and family, be the first in line to grab a bargain in the sales or just spend the night away from home all for the price of a takeaway.
Denise Lewis, athlete ambassador for Holiday Inn said: "With the Holiday Inn £20.12 room rate visiting loved ones this Christmas is really affordable. This fantastic rate means people can enjoy time away from home without worrying about the expense."
Chris Hale, head of London 2012 for Holiday Inn, said: "Christmas often means hordes of friends and family descending for a few days, taking over our living rooms and leaving some of us sleeping on the sofa. If you prefer a bed of your own this Christmas or you want an excuse to escape the washing up, this special rate is the perfect excuse to enjoy a few days away from home. The sale is for one day only and the rooms will go quickly so people should put 2012 day in their diaries and be ready to book their break."
Holiday Inn is undergoing the biggest relaunch in the hospitality industry with a £650 million investment across more than 3,400 hotels and 430,000 rooms worldwide. The relaunch means that guests can expect a consistently good experience at all our hotels. The relaunch is on track for completion at the end of December 2010 when the £20.12 room rate applies.
