IHG Signs Five Hotel Management Deals with HNA Group

Joining hands with China's emerging travel company

Shanghai, 11 May 2010 - InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, today signed a management contract of five hotels with its new strategic partner HNA Hotels & Resorts Group (HNA Hotels).

The five hotels, under three of IHG's brands, will span from South to North China and add more than 1,300 rooms to IHG's pipeline.

"We are very excited about this newly formed partnership with HNA Hotels," said Keith Barr, managing director, IHG Greater China. "The combination of our brands, international expertise and systems with their local business insight will create hotels that guests will love."

HNA Hotels is a subsidiary of China's emerging travel company - HNA Group, an integrated operator in the modern service industry, with business in eight industry sectors, such as air transportation, logistics, tourism, finance and property development. HNA Hotels currently owns
and operates nearly 50 hotels in China.

The five signed hotels are:
InterContinental Haikou: 200 rooms, open in 1st quarter, 2014
InterContinental Changchun: 300 rooms, open in 4th quarter, 2015
Crowne Plaza Changchun Noble: 290 rooms, open in 4th quarter, 2012
Crowne Plaza Kunming West: 300 rooms, open in 1st quarter, 2014
Holiday Inn Beijing Sifang: 217 rooms, open in 1st quarter, 2012
