IHG Designs Apps for Next-Generation Technologies

IHG Broadening Booking Application Strategy with Priority Club® Rewards App for Kindle Fire, Google TV and AndroidTablets

ATLANTA – IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group)[Lon: IHG; NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], today announced the expansion of booking solutions across the Android platformwith the Priority Club® Rewards app for Kindle Fire, Google TV and AndroidTablets.  IHG is the first hotel company to launch apps for both Kindle Fire and Google TV. The Priority Club Rewards app provides customers with the functionality to find and book hotel rooms, check rates and view or cancel reservations for all seven of IHG’s brands­InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo®, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn® Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn Express®,Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites®. 

The Priority Club Rewards app for Kindle Fire is available at the Amazon Appstore for Android; the Google TV app is available at the Android Market; and the Android Tablets app is also available at the Android Market.

    • Use Priority Club Rewards account information to facilitate bookings
  • View Priority Club Rewards member details (number, level, points balance)
  • Manage account profile

  • Quick enrollment into Priority Club Rewards

The Priority Club Rewards app for Kindle Fire, Google TV and Android Tablets follows the highly successful release of the  Priority Club® Rewards app for Windows Phone in July 2011; iPhone booking apps for each of IHG’s seven brands, announced in June 2011; InterContinental Concierge Insider Guides app for iPad in December 2010; the Priority Club® Rewards app for Android in July 2010; and the Priority Club Rewards app for iPhone in April 2010.
