Holiday Inn Hunts for Australia's Biggest Kid
Despite being a grande dame at the age of 62, the Holiday Inn brand is one that is still young at heart and has today launched a national search to find Australia’s biggest kid. Parents and kids alike are being called to nominate the ‘big kid’ of their family - Mums and Dads who maybe haven’t grown up quite yet - for the chance to win an incredible family holiday to Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali. From today until Sunday 9th November 2014, big kids can head to www.holidayinnbigkids.com.au to enter.
Across the globe, the Holiday Inn brand offers an outstanding ‘Kids Stay & Eat Free’* program, making them an ideal option for family holidays.
To launch the competition, much-loved Aussie dad, Stevie Jacobs – best known for his often hilarious antics as Channel 9’s Today weatherman – has shown his true colours as a big kid. From stuffing his face at a buffet breakfast and building pillow cubby houses, to pranking people in an elevator and splashing unsuspecting sunbathers, he’s a big kid force to be reckoned with, as displayed in this video.
“I’ve always considered myself to be a big kid, so it’s great to finally have the opportunity to tell everyone about it!” said Stevie. “I’m calling for all the mums and dads out there who have a seriously silly side to get involved and tell us about it – and send some photo proof of course! With the chance to win a family holiday thanks to Holiday Inn, what are you waiting for?”
The lucky winners will be flown from their nearest capital city to beautiful Bali, for five nights of bliss – sun, sand, kids’ club and activities, delicious food, Balinese massages for the whole family and a romantic dinner for mum and dad, and a whole lot of fun for the kids. And we’re throwing in spending money and transfers to make the trip just a little bit more special.
Lee Lin Teo, Director Brand Management for Holiday Inn Brand Family for Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) said: “At Holiday Inn, we celebrate family time, and the precious moments families can have on holiday together. That’s why at Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts worldwide, kids stay and eat for free – making it that much easier to turn holiday dreams into reality without breaking your budget.
“We also celebrate fun, so we want to make sure that mums and dads have the chance to be appreciated for their playful, silly natures. Instead of conforming to the norm of grown-up behaviour, we want to reward Aussies for staying young-at-heart, and for being big kids!”
Guests can book rooms and make the most of the ‘Kids Eat & Stay Free’ program at the Holiday Inn website – www.holidayinn.com.
