IHG announces appointment of Federico Lalatta Costerbosa as head of Global Strategy and Corporate Development

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, today announces the appointment of Federico Lalatta Costerbosa as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Strategy and Corporate Development.  

Federico joins from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was a Partner and Managing Director. He will report directly to IHG’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Solomons.  

Federico joined BCG in 1994, where he led teams working on wide range of strategic and organisational issues for both global and regionally-focused companies. Federico worked across a broad spectrum of sectors in his twenty years at BCG including retail, FMCG and luxury goods. He has extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sectors.   

Richard Solomons, Chief Executive Officer of IHG commented: “We are delighted to welcome Federico to IHG. He knows our business well, having worked closely with us in his previous role at BCG, and will bring a wealth of experience and insight.  He will be an integral part of our senior leadership team, responsible for the development and execution of our corporate strategy.”
