The ‘Portuguese Riviera' welcomes InterContinental® Estoril

InterContinental® Hotels and Resorts, IHG’s luxury brand, has opened InterContinental® Estoril – the brand’s first hotel on the ‘Portuguese Riviera’. Situated on the beautiful Estoril coast, just 27 kilometres west of Lisbon, the stunning hotel offers magnificent ocean views from every room, as well as easy access to the country’s historic capital via train along the coast line.

InterContinental Estoril features a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with ocean views as well as tranquil gardens, a wellness centre with Ritual Spa, Club InterContinental and a private terrace. All 59 guest rooms are elegant and modern, with sleek furniture and design features.

Estoril plays host to a wealth of international sports events and golf courses, and boasts a number of national parks and stunning beaches all within a short walking distance from the hotel. Commonly called the “Coast of Kings” thanks to its popularity with European royalty, the town has one of Europe’s largest casinos and was the inspiration for the first of Ian Fleming’s James Bond books, "Casino Royale.”
