Crescent Hotels & Resorts opens the Crowne Plaza® Farmington Hills in suburban Detroit
Everett House Partners announces today that the 134-suite Crowne Plaza® – Farmington Hills, previously the Holiday Inn® Farmington Hills, has recently opened.
Located at 37529 Grand River Avenue, the property is approximately 20 minutes from downtown Detroit and offers shuttle service to nearby offices and local attractions. In addition to being owned by Everett House Partners, the property is managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, who manages several other IHG hotels.

The Crowne Plaza Farmington Hills is the eighth IHG property and fourth Crowne Plaza hotel in Crescent Hotels & Resorts’ management portfolio, further demonstrating their commitment to IHG and the Crowne Plaza Accelerate program, a $200 million investment from IHG to transform the brand in the Americas region.

The hotel will also include Plaza Workspace, one of the most significant innovations in the Crowne Plaza brand’s history. All 134 guest suites will be WorkLife, a design developed around the evolving needs of modern business travelers and their blended lifestyles, that features a flexible environment with distinct zones that encourage guests to work, relax and recharge their way. The custom angle beds feature padded headboards with integrated lighting, plus multiple electrical outlets and USB ports throughout the room.
The hotel features 6,000 square feet of meeting space equipped for a variety of events, from business groups to weddings. The hotel’s team includes a certified Meetings Professional International meetings planner to help guests plan the perfect event.
The Farmington Hills hotel offers all-American cuisine featuring the Crowne Plaza Power Up breakfast as well as various lunch and dinner options at the on-site restaurant, Founders Tavern.
