IHG® Hotels & Resorts Loyalty Program Takes Home Freddie Awards

IHG® Rewards Club, one of the world’s largest hotel loyalty programs, takes home five first-place awards at the 2019 Freddie Awards
 
IHG® Hotels & Resorts (IHG®), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, wins the top spot in five categories for IHG® Rewards Club at the 2019 Freddie Awards. The oldest and most prestigious awards for loyalty travel were held on April 25 at the C.R. Smith Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.
 
Taking top honors as Program of the Year in the Middle East/Asia/Oceania region, IHG® Rewards Club also won first place in five of the six categories for which it was nominated:
 
  • Best Promotion for Accelerate* in Europe/Africa 
  • Best Promotion for Accelerate* in the Middle East/Asia/Oceania
  • Best Loyalty Program in the Middle East/Asia/Oceania
  • Best Redemption Ability in the Middle East/Asia/Oceania
  • Best Redemption Ability in Europe/Africa
*The Accelerate promotion provides unique, tailored offers for members to earn bonus points by completing stays.
 
In addition, IHG’s loyalty program received second-place awards for Best Elite Hotel Program in both Europe/Africa as well as the Middle East/Asia/Oceania region.
