IHG signs Crowne Plaza Resort in Sohna, Gurgaon NCR

India, 23 March 2026:  IHG^® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with Harisons Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd. to introduce Crowne Plaza Resort Gurgaon Sohna near Palwal in the National Capital Region. Scheduled to open in first quarter of 2029, the signing marks another significant milestone in IHG’s growth journey across India.

The upcoming premium resort will be located within a 70-minute drive from Delhi International Airport. The hotel will be positioned to cater to a strong wedding and social celebrations demand in NCR originating from neighbouring states, alongside weekend leisure travel and corporate offsites.

Once operational, Crowne Plaza Resort Gurgaon Sohna will offer 150 contemporary, well-appointed rooms crafted to deliver comfort, connectivity and flexibility for modern travellers. The resort will feature four distinctive dining options including a lobby lounge, all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant and a bar. Complementing this will be expansive banqueting and meeting venues, a health club, spa, swimming pool, and indoor as well as outdoor leisure spaces, positioning the hotel as a comprehensive lifestyle and events destination.

This signing further strengthens the presence of the Crowne Plaza brand across South West Asia and reaffirms IHG’s commitment to growing its premium portfolio in high-potential markets.
