Regent sparks fresh perspectives in Aspen

A long outdoor dining table set on a grassy lawn hosts a group of guests seated beneath large white umbrellas. The table is decorated with lush green floral arrangements, while blurred pink flowers frame the foreground. Large white umbrellas provide shade, while a wooden fence, rolling hills, trees, and distant mountains create a scenic countryside backdrop under a bright, partly cloudy sky. One person wears a cream lace top with a brown skirt and boots, while the other wears a green patterned dress and carries a small white handbag.
Hosted by Danielle “Dani” Wolfe, a respected marketing and partnerships executive known for convening meaningful connections, the invitation-only gathering embodied Regent's signature approach to hospitality: refined, unexpected, and impeccably curated.
A rustic wooden table displays an assortment of freshly cut flowers and greenery arranged in white containers and metal buckets outside a weathered barn. The colorful blooms include lavender, pink, white, and deep magenta flowers alongside succulents and bright green foliage. Neatly folded canvas tote bags rest on one end of the table, while the barn's wooden siding and doorway create a charming countryside backdrop.
Set at a private residence in Woody Creek, the gathering drew inspiration from Aspen’s natural beauty and understated glamour, with design details that brought the surrounding landscape indoors in a way that felt sculptural rather than decorative.

Event Overview:

Against the backdrop of Aspen’s summer season, Regent Hotels & Resorts welcomed an intimate group of cultural tastemakers, entrepreneurs and luxury influencers to a private luncheon in Woody Creek, bringing the brand’s quietly expressive world of modern luxury to the mountains. The gathering marked the first edition of Regent Hosts, a new experiential series through which the brand carries its pioneering spirit beyond its hotels through chef-curated menus, signature hospitality, thoughtful design and conversations hosted by respected tastemakers and cultural connectors.

Hosted by Danielle “Dani” Wolfe, a respected marketing and partnerships executive known for convening meaningful connections, the invitation-only gathering embodied Regent's signature approach to hospitality: refined, unexpected, and impeccably curated. The afternoon welcomed an accomplished assembly of influential women, including Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd; Alexandra Dillard Lucie, Vice President of Dillard's; Jessica Jones Donnell; philanthropist Shelby Krause Goff; Corinna Richter, President and Chief Administrative Officer of HOLT CAT; Adrianna Grossman, President of the Texas Biomedical Forum; Melissa Salem; Tessa Riley, owner of Dynamic Realty; tastemaker Lauren Thomas; Sita McNab; and other notable leaders from the worlds of business, philanthropy, fashion, culture and community leadership.

The experience opened with a warm welcome that nodded to Regent’s iconic doorkeepers, followed by destination-inspired cocktails served on arrival as a subtle introduction to the brand’s global portfolio. Serves included the Qura Vesper from Regent Hong Kong, Bar 58’s Bee Champagne, from Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, The Beach House’s Spritz from Regent Santa Monica Beach and the Red Seaside, a spirit-free option, nodding to the brand’s upcoming opening in Jeddah. Each offered guests a first taste of Regent’s distinctive point of view across destinations.

Set at a private residence in Woody Creek, the gathering drew inspiration from Aspen’s natural beauty and understated glamour, with design details that brought the surrounding landscape indoors in a way that felt sculptural rather than decorative. A continuous 45-foot floral installation ran the length of the luncheon table, replacing traditional arrangements with a single architectural gesture composed of textural greenery, grasses, ferns and select botanical blooms. Moss-covered vessels created the illusion of arrangements emerging directly from the table, while additional floral moments greeted guests at the residence entrance, draped across the bar and softened the interiors.

The tablescape reflected Regent’s philosophy of discreet maximalism through restraint, texture, and proportion. Rather than relying on overt branding or conventional luxury cues, the table used organic movement, layered greenery and subtle color to create a setting that felt intimate, modern and memorable. High-touch details, from considered place settings to the rhythm of service, created an atmosphere where guests were hosted with intention.

The culinary experience brought the same level of intention to the table, with a seasonal menu that highlighted Colorado ingredients and refined summer flavors. The afternoon began with passed hors d’oeuvres including vegan summer rolls, sesame-crusted ahi, caviar-topped buckwheat blini and chèvre-stuffed strawberries, followed by a burrata and heirloom tomato starter with grilled Palisade peaches. Main course selections included Colorado native chicken roulade, Colorado striped bass and a summer vegetable terrine, with desserts including fresh strawberries with lemon shortcake biscuit or roasted Colorado strawberry and elderflower panna cotta.

"Regent has always been a brand defined by innovation and a pioneering spirit," shares Vicki Poulos, Vice President, Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Americas. "With Regent Hosts, we’re extending Regent’s pioneering spirit beyond our hotels through intimate gatherings that reflect the brand’s signature balance of serenity and sensation—bringing together exceptional hospitality, considered conversation, and a distinct sense of place to spark stories worth remembering.”

The Aspen luncheon marks the first in a series of Regent Hosts moments, with additional gatherings set to unfold throughout the year in destinations that reflect the brand’s distinctive point of view on luxury, culture and connection.

Regent Hotels & Resorts is a portfolio of 11 hand-selected hotels and resorts found in cosmopolitan capitals and awe-inspiring destinations, with the brand coming to 9 new destinations in the coming years.
